WHAT IS A PANIC ATTACK:
Well in my opinion panic attack is unexpected and frequent attacks of horror that may endmost for a couple of minutes or more. This condition is known as panic attacks. It is specified by a terror or horror of tragedy or of lacking control despite that there is nothing to be terrified of.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF PANIC ATTACKS:
The signs and symptoms of panic attacks include:
1.The person suffering from panic attacks find trouble in breathing.
2. They often shed sweat all over their body.
3. Their heartbeat rate is very rapid.
4. Extreme distress or anxiety.
5. A strong fear of disaster.
6. Feeling of discomfort in the whole body.
Panic attacks are very uncomfortable and it leads to remarkable misery. If you know someone who experiences panic attacks you may help them through various methods.
INSTRUCT THEM TO RETAIN THEIR PEACE:
During panic attacks, you must step up and instruct your friend to keep at peace. There is nothing to worry about. Tell them everything is going to be ok and they are going to pass this situation successfully. Stay with them make them comfortable with the belief that you have got their back. Peacefully talk to them. Panic attacks usually don’t take that much time. But the patient themselves may experience the duration to last badly. Just make them feel comfortable with you.
SECURE THEIR AGONY:
Most of the time people are judged too badly, for this reason, someone who is suffering from panic attacks feels no more reliable to share their pain or their sufferings they are going through. Try to keep a connection with someone you know having panic attacks to feel free to talk to you. Don’t remind them of their situation in panic attacks it might distress them. Even during a panic attack, the person who is suffering might feel that everything is normal but the companion along with the patient faces real danger in controlling the situation.
INTERROGATE HOW YOU CAN HELP OUT:
Most of the people who go through panic attacks have their own way to deal with the situation. But just remember if a loved one is along with you you can easily cope with the situation.
As in the middle of their panic attack, it might be difficult to communicate with them so it’s better to ask at first that what can you do to help when they are suffering through a panic attack.
During a panic attack, it’s suitable to ask what you can do to help nut just be prepared for any negative or sudden unfavorable response. Try your best to stay neutral and don’t take any of their responses to yourself personally.
DON’T LEAVE THE PERSON DURING PANIC ATTACK:
During a panic attack make sure that you stay with the person. Don’t leave them as they really need your help during their panic attacks. If you leave it may worsen the situation for the person suffering from panic attacks. As this is a very difficult situation for the person suffering from a panic attack so it is quite soothing or good for the patient that the companion stays with them to encourage and comfort them in his panic situation.
HAVE CHECK ON THE PERSON AFTER PANIC ATTACK IS
As when the situation of panic is over make sure that you do have a check on the one suffering from panic attacks. Encourage them to tell them that they can get over this situation it’s not hard enough for them. Feel them that they are amazing, beautiful, full of courage and they can take all the joy in their life as they deserve all the happiness in this world. And make them assure that they are absolutely normal and well enough. And make them sure that they can contact or meet you any time they feel out of control or uncomfortable.
RECOMMEND SOME ACTIVITIES TO HELP FIGHT PANIC
In case if you really feel that their situation may get worse or anything like that guide them to talk to their doctor or counselor who can help them cope with the situation. And if you feel they can have control over their panic attacks by daily meditation, exercise, walk, taking fresh air make sure that they perform all of these activities punctually to have control over their panic attacks. Give them some of the helplines to which they can contact 24/7 even when you are not around.
Panic attacks are very common in our society these days. Most of people suffer from panic attacks and anxiety etc but there is no need to be sad or ashamed of. If you know somebody who is suffering from panic attacks support them help them fight their situation its because your little kindness will help them a lot to cope with their situation don’t make fun of them but try harder to guide them and help them.
